Buffalo Audubon & Beaver Meadow Nature Preserve

Buffalo Audubon at Beaver Meadow is dedicated to the promotion, enjoyment, and protection of the natural world through education, nature experiences, advocacy, and community conservation. Our staff and headquarters are located at our beautiful Beaver Meadow Nature Preserve in North Java. We are a well-established and well-respected nonprofit founded in 1909 by local conservationists. We are also a chapter affiliate of the National Audubon Society.

We connect people to the natural world through immersive nature experiences, education programs, advocacy, and habitat protection. We manage seven nature preserves (1,000+ acres), and offer a newly-renovated nature center, independent and guided hiking and birding, nature education for people of all ages, a summer nature camp, and more.
