Founded over 125 years ago, our pograms have evolved to meet the ever changing needs of our those we serve. However, our focus of insipring a community where all children feel loved, save, valued and capable of great achievements remains steadfast.

Motivated by our foundation of Christian principles, in everything we do, we will demonstrate integrity, safety, empowerment, diversity and collaboration.

What We Do

Through 18 various programs, Gateway Longview supports children age birth to 21, and their support systems, during very critical and often challenging times. Often, children are referred to our services during times of crisis, or becuase they need help moving past a traumatic incident.

No matter what the referral, our top priority is saftey, as well as the social, mental and emotional well-being of youth and families in care. To that end, our overall approach is Solution-Focused and Trauma-Informed.

As an agency, we recognize that each child and family has unique skills and experiences that make them who they are. Our work builds upon individual strengths, creating partnerships that foster hope for the future.

Some of our mission-centered programs include: foster care and adoption, behavioral health clinics, kinship support, care coordination, supervised indpendent living for young adults aged 18-21, therapeutic facilitated visitation, an early intervenstion educational pre-school, special education for grades k-12, and residential care for youth age 12-18.
