Who We Are
Catholic Central Food Pantry is facilitated by parishioners and neighbors of the Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church on Leroy Ave. of Buffalo, NY. Some our volunteers have been working at the Pantry for over ten years.
The Pantry faces south on Dewey Avenue which is at the back of the campus behind the church. There is AMPLE PARKING at the Pantry.
Supplies of proteins, grains and fruits and veg arrive every other week from Food Bank of WNY. We also have deliveries of bread and produce driven to our pantry by volunteers of The Food Shuttle of WNY.
What We Do
Catholic Central Food Pantry distributes contributions from the Food Bank of WNY and from BJs, Tops and Wegmans via the Food Shuttle of WNY.
Our visitors are local residents in need of food and other supplies. The Food Bank of WNY supplies the Pantry for the benefit of the residents of zip codes 14214 and 14215.
Prior to the Pandemic we had a small clothes closet to recycle clothes within our neighborhood. It was extremely popular with visitors to the Pantry.
Volunteers are welcome to come and help though we are seldom busy for more than an hour or two.
