Tri-Community Food Pantry

Tri-Community Food Pantry, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization with a goal of alleviating hunger and poverty by providing food and services to people in need.

We are a private non-profit organization, not affiliated with any governmental or religious entity. We work to educate the public about the nature of hunger and poverty.

We recognize the need for emergency and supplemental food programs and of other non-profit organizations that meet the critical needs of low income families.

We strive to provide our services with compassion and respect for the dignity of our clients.

We are a client-choice food pantry serving the Cheektowaga / Depew / Lancaster area.

We are a member agency of the Food Bank of WNY. Our clients receive food from our pantry every two weeks. Our primary source of food is the Food Bank. We also receive food from community and corporate food drives, individual donations and via wholesale purchase.

Donations

We accept donations of non-perishable food. We also accept donations of clothes, books, toys, appliances and other goods which are then made available to our clients.

Food Distribution

We are open for food distribution on the following days:

Tuesday: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Thursday: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities to volunteer at our pantry. Some of the opportunities include:

• Food Distribution – During the hours we are open assisting in the distribution of food to our clients.
• Food Pick Up – We pick up donated food from several merchants on a regular basis
• Special Events – We have several fundraising and food drive events throughout the year
