Latin American Cultural Association

The mission of El Buen Amigo and the Latin American Cultural Association (LACA) is to offer cross-cultural education and information to various publics in western New York, provide a venue for artists of all mediums, and support native Latin American artists and craftspeople with the sale of their products on the EBA store.

The organization is a non-profit fair trade store that offers shoppers distinctive products created by Latin American artisans and craftspeople. One hundred percent of the proceeds from El Buen Amigo go toward improving the quality of life for people in Latin America and to do cultural and educational programs to the WNY middle school, high school, colleges and also great field trips.

The affiliated Latin American Cultural Association supports cultural diversity and community awareness by offering art openings, musical performances, documentary film presentations, and cultural immersion programs
