Volunteer: Food Justice TourDuring the course of this year and into the next year we will be partnering with organizations to host a public health tour centered on providing free to low cost resources to areas identified to have significant health disparities. Our programming will utilize a collaborative, culturally sensitive, data-based approach in order to thwart Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) in underserved groups with specific strategies for the BIPOC community. Are programming will anchor the community providing but not limited to, Our Justice Market, Cooking demonstrations, Health Screenings, Community resource information (mental health, social supports, workforce opportunities.)
We are looking for volunteers to assist in management, helping vendors when needed, providing help for individuals or families to carry supplies to their vehicles if needs and to assist with the community art project if needed.
