Responsible for office communications (e.g., contacting clients, answering phones, filing, faxing). QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service skills. 2. Must be comfortable working with people who are visually impaired and developmentally disabled. 3. Must be mature, reliable, courteous, have good judgment and be professional. 4. Must be organized and work well in an environment with constant priority changes. 5. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. 6. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required. DETAILS OF SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: This is an on-going opportunity that begins upon approval by staff members. Candidates must be available Monday-Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm, at least but not limited to at least two days per week, four or five hours per day. A health form and proof of immunizations must be completed by physician. All candidates must be tested for TB prior to volunteering. The attire during this position is casual.
