Volunteer: Tour GuidePurpose: Tour Guides are needed to lead student and/or public participation in Tifft Nature Preserve tours, workshops, and/or day camp activities. Description: Tour Guides prepare and setup provided materials for a tour, workshop, or camp. Tour Guides encourage and guide participants through activities of a workshop station or tour of the trails. School programs are typically weekday mornings. Comprehensive Tour Guide training is provided.

Volunteer: Visitor Center GreeterPurpose: Greeters offer general assistance to both the visiting public and the Visitor Center Staff. Description: Greeters welcome visitors, inform visitors of program offerings, monitor the Visitor Center and immediate outdoors, and answer general questions about Tifft Nature Preserve. Other duties may include reminding visitors of rules and regulations, assisting in an emergency, and offering directions. Physical Demands: Walking/ standing/sitting during a scheduled shift.
