Stitch Buffalo is seeking a volunteer to assist in creating some short, simple videos to demonstrate hand embroidery techniques. This will involve planning shooting, basic editing, and uploading videos for on-line distribution via YouTube or social media.
COVID-19—We strive to provide a safe work environment. Masks are required in our facility and occupancy is limited. Aside from actually shooting the video, the rest of the process should be able to be accomplished remotely. We could potentially do shoots outdoors to increase safety.
Stitch Buffalo is an inclusive space for Refugee and Immigrant women to create handcrafted goods and find economic empowerment. Volunteers should be prepared to work among a diverse group of people in an energetic, fast-paced environment where many languages are spoken.
