Weinberg Campus offers residents a variety of opportunities for social interaction with staff, family, friends, and other residents. Still, there are residents who have few visitors and need a friend to share things with. Friendly Visitors are volunteers that visit residents on a regular basis to share stories, pictures, news, and jokes. Friendly Visitors are a vital part of the continued health and happiness of many of our residents.
To keep our residents safe, we are required to onboard volunteers as thoroughly as we do paid staff. This includes background checks and a health screening. Please see our website for full details and application.
