We would like to host a Compeer Wellness Picnic and Yard Games --- a picnic‑style social event designed to foster connection and belonging
United Way Day of Caring volunteers will help create a welcoming, energetic space where Compeer clients can socialize, participate in activities, and build friendships.
Volunteers will welcome and engage clients throughout the event.
- Facilitate simple icebreakers and conversation starters.
- Run outdoor and table‑top game stations, such as corn hole, ladder ball, Uno, etc.
- Support wellness‑themed activities, including aromatherapy roller ball making, gratitude journaling and reflection, and participate in a “Why I Volunteer” social media moment by sharing short reflections on what motivates you to volunteer and support your community and Compeer Buffalo, (optional, consent‑based).
