Matt Urban Center is searching for volunteers in order to assist in light food prep, serving, and clean up at our first Quarterly Community Breakfast at 1081 Broadway on September 22nd at 10:30 AM.
The purpose of these meetings are to both provide the community and those we serve with updates on new development projects Matt Urban is breaking ground on, but also to engage in productive dialogue about Matt Urban's services and how best to improve or expand them to meet real needs in the Broadway Fillmore neighborhood and beyond.The event is open to the public and anyone who attends is able to partake in a free healthy well rounded breakfast, as well as participate in the round table discussions that would follow.
Volunteers for this project would be integral in preparing the breakfast items, serving plates to attendees, and also assisting in the clean up and breakdown of the breakfast area at the conclusion of the event.
