VolunteerWNY Why Not You Awards Volunteer Project

Nearly 8,000 people were homeless in the five county WNY area in 2015. In efforts to support agencies and initiatives that combat homelessness, volunteers will work together to assemble care bags. The care bags will provided at outreach events such as Project Homeless Connect Buffalo and Project Connect Niagara. The care bags will provide the necessities and comfort items to adults and children who are in crisis due to homelessness.
