Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is seeking volunteers to assist with our Annual Maple Weekend, March 24th and 25th. This year will be a two day event and will feature a lumberjack breakfast, maple science demonstrations (tree science, leaf reading and pressing, soil testing, tree medallions, and art corner), and a maple sugar tour. We expect a turn out of 1,000+!
Volunteer Shifts for Saturday, March 24th and 25th
Positions available indoors assisting with Maple Breakfast and outdoors assisting with Maple Programming.
Indoors we have opportunities assisting in the kitchen starting at 7:15am and going until 12:00pm and opportunities helping with serving breakfast, starting at 9:00am and going until 12:00pm. Outdoors we have opportunities helping with everything from our maple tapping station to our children's area, starting at 9:30am and going until 4:00pm.
*All Maple Programming volunteers will receive training from our Director of Education. Programming volunteers can assist with Maple Science Demonstrations or Maple Tours.
