Trinity is an Episcopal church in the heart of Buffalo. Trinity Church has a number of community partnerships in the city of Buffalo, including Homespace, Compass House, GLYS and VOICE Buffalo. On Tuesday, December 27th, Trinity will host its first Kwanzaa Celebration for members of the community. Kwanzaa is a secular festival observed by many African Americans from December 26 to January 1 as a celebration of their cultural heritage and traditional values.
The Kwanzaa Celebration at Trinity Church will include a fun and interactive exploration of the principles of Kwanzaa, music, food and games. Activities are designed for children and adults. The event will be free and open to the public.
We need volunteers to help with setting up, decorating, greeting visitors, serving food and clean up.
