The Center for Employment Opportunity is a national nonprofit organization that provides immediate, effective and comprehensive employment services to recently released men and women with criminal convictions. We hope to all of our participants have to preparation and support they need to find a job and maintain a connection to the workforce.
We assist 150 individuals over the course of the year in addressing barriers and gaining employment. Each of our participants faces their own set of barriers to employment- technology, personal, emotional, financial. With your help, we can connect our participants to the resources they need to remove any obstacles they may face in their quest to find employment.
CEO is looking for Volunteers to work with our participants in applying for full-time positions and searching our community resource database for community services to remove any stumbling blocks participants receive.
Volunteers hours:
2-hour per week is from 2 pm to 4:30 Monday through Friday.
We will invite you to tour our office and meet our participants.
