This committee's role is to assist in the creation of professional education workshops, talks and webinars. Audiences for professional education programs include nephrology specialists, primary care providers, dialysis providers, social workers, dietitians and others working with kidney patients.
We are seeking committee members with experience in any of the above fields, or experience in planning educational programs.
Until further notice, all committee meetings are being held remotely by video conference or phone conference. Meetings are generally held on weeknight evenings or at another time convenient for the most members of a specific committee.
The committee's role will include:
- identifying topics for educational programs (especially issues of importance for patients or professionals);
- helping the Kidney Foundation to connect with potential presenters;
- selecting venues and times which will best serve audience members;
- assisting with the promotion of educational programs.
