Shift Leader Intern/Volunteer, Williamsville,NY. The Mission of The Morlock Foundation is to improve the quality of live of families in our community through resources, support, love, hope, education, respect, and respite. We help families survive. 

Shift leaders needed for our food pantry program. 

Would love for the person to be able to work between the hours of 6am and 3pm on Mondays starting Jan 2024.

Dry Goods/Mobile: We are requesting the shift leaders to be able to work with a team to serve clients that enter or serve clients that do drive thru. 

Receiving: We are requesting the shift leader to be able to lift to stock shelves, tear down tables, more racks back to the storage room, clean up... We received about 8,000 pounds of food each month and the shelves continually need restocking.  

Client Care: We are requesting that the shift leader be able to work on computers, talk with clients, complete reports, file paperwork.

We ask that the person applying for this position to make a commitment to stay.  

Social Media Volunteer/Intern, Lockport,NY.  The Morlock Foundation is looking for a 4+hr/week Social Marketing Volunteer/Intern and Online Mobilizer. (REMOTE POSITION)

Must be familiar with Web 2.0 programs like facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram and more.

Must be able to work as a team player and an individual.  

Must be able to review goal setting plan and make a plan to meet the goals.  

You will be working with a student team on Macro Practice.

Need to attend meeting Tuesday night at 6pm until 7pm. Planning of work should be done with the Supervisor -Elizabeth Connors.

Intake Client Care Specialist Intern/Volunteer, Lockport, NY: The Mission of The Morlock Foundation is to improve the quality of live of families in our community through resources, support, love, hope, education, respect, and respite. We help families survive.  

The intake specialist work with families from our Save the family program - those suffering the traumas of life. Typically disease, disability, dv and more.  

The intake specialist also works with families from our Food pantry program.  

Must be able to work on the phone with clients, work on the computer, calculate numbers for reports. 

 

 

The office manager will be responsible to make sure that the organization can continually function.  This person will make it possible for us to do what we do for the community.

 

Duties include but not limited to:   

- answer phones

- shredding

- coordination

- date entry

- research

- fundraising setup and planning

- online fax sorting

- work in google drive

- planning and prep for board meetings

- working with work experience groups 

and more.

Evangel Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to help meet the needs of our client base.  

We are located at 8180 Greiner Road (1/2 Mile from Greiner, Transit, Maple intersection) 

We are helping over 1000 people per month fight hunger.  

 

We are a client choice pantry. We fill the shelves and they pick what is best for them of what is available.  

We are in need of various volunteers: 

- working on the computer

-helping clients get their food

-taking their food out to their cars 

-filling shelves 

-picking up food once a week or once a month 

and various other positions. 

On mondays we are open 5am - 3pm. 

 A few hours or the entire time. 

We are looking for care for clients in our remotely and Williamsville location (mondays) to help families struggling with traumas of disease, disability, domestic violence and more.  

We need people who care about making a difference for those in need in the community.  

Skills needed: 

Passion for making a difference 

Computer Skills

Personal and communication skills

Intern opportunities for those in: Social Work, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Psychology and Sociology.

Preference for Volunteers to have a BA or Masters in Social Work, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Psychology and Sociology.

We are looking for people who will dedicate 5 hours per week on Wednesday or Thursday between 6:30am and 3pm Virtually or Mondays (starting Jan 2024) in our Williamsville Location between 6:30am-2:30pm. One on one contact with clients.  Ensuring safety.

We have added a location in Niagara County.  We feel it is important for the community to be involved with improvements for the community.  We are looking for dedicated, hardworking, caring individuals who would like to be n our advisory board.  This advisory board would meet once a month to review what is happening and how we can make a bigger impact in the community.

Food pickup needed on Mondays with a pickup truck (no cap) to help people in Williamsville and Clarence who are hungry.  We need you for about an hour. You could even do this before you go to work.  Every Mondays at 5:45am. The pickup is 1/2 mile from the food pantry. The weeks you are going on vacation or out of town we would need you to let us know in advance.  

A pallet would be loaded into your truck by the forklift operator and you would load any produce or dairy in your pickup and bring it back to the pantry to unload.  

Food pickup needed on saturdays with a pickup truck (no cap) to help people in Williamsville and Clarence who are hungry.  We need you for about an hour.  Every Saturday at 6:45am. The pickup is 1/2 mile from the food pantry. The weeks you are going on vacation or out of town we would need you to let us know in advance.  

 

You would need to sign in for the pickup and load what the receiver has set aside for the pantry and bring it back to the pantry to unload.
