Help us welcome our blood donors by screening and examining their eligibility to donate through physical exams and collecting/confirming donor demographics. You will facilitate and evaluate self-administered health histories and complete a physical exam that includes an oral temperature, pulse, BP and hematocrit by accepted procedure. Medical experience preferred, but not required. The commitment to become a Volunteer Medical Screener (VMS) can be a heavy lift upfront. Once you have completed the certified training you will experience incredible rewards. The VMS Training is a highly regulated process and therefore, you will be required to complete 3 1/2 weeks of training between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday thru Friday. **Please note that classroom training is conducted during traditional business hours. Ongoing training will be required as needed for maintaining your regulatory compliance.
