Spring Sweep: This is for volunteers who would like to join an organized cleanup lead by Waterkeeper Site Captains on April 22rd from 10AM-12PM. Volunteers can choose from a list of locations across Western New York. Volunteers must register on our website to choose a location to join. Registration opens in March, space is limited so sign up soon!

Solo Sweep: This is for volunteers who want to cleanup on their own or with a small group of friends or family. Volunteers can cleanup where they want, with their own supplies, when it works for their schedule. Report your efforts by collecting data on the trash you cleanup! Collecting data helps us track the plastic pollution in Western New York and advocate for solutions by using the Clean Swell Application.
