Volunteer: 2025 K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch August 16 2025The goal of KMR is to honor and remember the members of our Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting our country. KMR donates the food carried by the roadmarchers to local community food pantries that assist veterans in need. Funds raised by KMR are used to support organizations such as the Buffalo Treatment Court Mentors program, the Gold Star Mothers (GSM), and other programs aimed at assisting our veterans. The annual roadmarch will be happening on August 16 and we are looking for volunteers to assist us in making this another successful event! Help is needed in many areas such as:
Monitoring entrances Assisting with set up the day before Staffing the registration table / water stations Managing booths (e.g., merchandise) Running the challenge stations Agency: K.I.A. The goal of a Fundraiser is a professional who organizes, designs marketing and promotional materials and leads outreach efforts to help an organization meet its fundraising goals.
While there are seasonal opportunities to recruit funds and event material, we would consider this position ongoing in the hopes that contacts and connections are created and the fundraiser can work throughout the year to maintain a collection of support material.
