The Teacher's Desk

The Teacher's Desk is the store in Buffalo where teachers shop free for students in need. Our mission is to distribute free school supplies to students in need, encourage teachers and provide purpose through volunteerism.

We annually distribute over $5 million of books, supplies and resources to 5,000 teachers at 180 schools in Western New York at which 70% or more of the student population qualify for the Federal free or reduced lunch program.  

We host 15 special needs groups during the week who package product for our store, allowing them to contribute to their community.  

Weekly, 200 volunteers replenish our store shelves, sort inventory and help teachers pack up their selections.
