Resurrection Life Food Pantry is one of the largest food pantries serving Western New York.
COVID's economic impact has affected thousands of families across WNY forcing many to seek out food assistance through food pantries. Now more than ever we rely on volunteers to meet the need of our community.
CAN YOU HELP?
Designated as a high capacity/high priority emergency food relief organization by FeedMore WNY, we provide first time emergency food to households throughout WNY. Continued support is provided for households struggling with food insecurity in our focus service areas of Cheektowaga NY and chronically homeless veterans throughout WNY connected with the VA’s HUD-VASH program.
Additional outreach to low income seniors and individuals with limited or no transportation is provided through our mobile food pantry distribution.
What We Do
On-site food distribution through a no contact drive-thru allows us to maintain social distancing guidelines. Plans to return to a “client choice” food pantry are moving ahead, however clients will have the choice of remaining with our drive-thru distribution or return to “client choice” and shop inside the building.
200 plus chronically homeless veterans connected with the VA's HUD-VASH program receive food on-site or delivered by their case manager every month.
Residents at 5 senior housing facilities are eligible for delivery on the 1st & 3rd Thursday each month:
