On June 6th, we observe National Hunger Awareness Day by performing service in our community. The Hope Center is seeking 12 volunteers to help us pack meals to distribute to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community on June 6th, 2018 from 10am-12pm.
Volunteers will help make PB&J sandwiches and pack lunch bags with fruit and water bottles. Our goal is to create 100 meals to give to our Outreach team to distribute during homeless outreach. Gloves will be provided. Donations of supplies are welcomed, but not required.
Families welcome! Please park along the street in front of the building (mind the parking signs!). Ring the bell at the blue doors. If you require an accessible entrance, please contact us.
If interested, please sign up here! For questions, please contact Mary Rachel Keville at mkeville@urbanctr.org or 716-893-7222x329.
