What We Do
PROGRAMS & RESOURCES
- Resurrection Food Pantry
Serving 14211 weekday mornings. We have on going opportunities for volunteer opportunities in the pantry.
In 2014, Resurrection Village Ministry food programs provided 46,512 meals to 3,964 families (7,862 individuals) including 2,520 children and 956 senior citizens. All this at a cost of $0.425 per meal.

3rd Friday of every month, free perishable food. We have on going opportunities for volunteer opportunities in the pantry.
- Food Shuttle
Tuesday mornings, free baked goods
- Resurrection Village Community Garden
17 free garden plots, applications available in March

A new nutrition program to helping you take control of your weight and your health.
- Group Workcamps Home Repairs
Free repairs to owner occupied homes, primarily exterior painting and replacement of porches & steps
In 2014 the Resurrection Village Ministry Housing program provided essential repairs to the homes of 44 families including 81 children and 33 senior citizens, at a cost of less than $400 per home. Since 2012, we have helped to 95 homeowner families.
- Resurrection Village Community Health Workers
Reaching out into our community, to address all the Essentials of Life--God, Food, Shelter, Healthcare, Education, Meaningful Work and Security
In 2014 the Resurrection Village Ministry Healthcare program, including partner doctors at Jericho Road Community Health Center at Resurrection Health Center, the Lighthouse Free Chiropractic Clinic and Resurrection Community Health Workers, provided 6,972 patient visits to 2,124 different patients. In addition, Narcotics anonymous programs housed at Resurrection provided free weekly meeting space to 230 participants each week.
- Saturday Yoga with YIS (Yogis In Service)
Yoga for health and personal growth serving people of all ages and abilities. Saturday mornings at 10 AM
- RaG Time Summer Day Camp
6 weeks summer day-camp from the first week in July to mid-August. We have been operating this camp on buffalo's East Side since 1975.
- Narcotics Anonymous
5 days a week
