716 Ministries is a community development organization that exists to see WNY transformed and restored into the image and likeness of the Kingdom of God.

We have four areas of focus:

1. Low Income Housing Development: We buy houses from a variety of places, rehabilitate them, and sell the homes back to first-time homebuyers of the community, at a low cost. We aim to work together with service organizations and residents of Buffalo, NY, to seek fundamental justice for the people of the community. Because of volunteer labor and community collaboration, since 2007, 716 Ministries has completed the rehab of 26 homes, creating homeownership opportunities and aiding in reversing the cycle of poverty.

2. Facility Management: We manage and serve multiple nonprofits-- overseeing facilities for some of our closest partners and neighbor-churches provides us the opportunity to serve those who serve in our great city.   

3. Work Readiness: Every individual deserves an opportunity to learn and develop essential workplace excellence and job skills to obtain meaningful work. Since 2007, 716 Ministries has provided job training for members of our community. Today, our job training takes place in form of our Work Readiness program which offers Soft Skills, Construction, and Customer Service programs. 

Volunteer Opportunities: 

-Mentor a student who goes through our programs (no experience needed)

-Serve as a Guest Speaker if you have experience in HR/hiring

-Interview students on their Mock Interview Day to help them prepare for the future
