Who We Are
Our Curls Inc. is a 501C(3) organization serving women of color with cancer in the western New York area founded by Cherrise Walker-Betts. She has blazed the path of providing unique and necessary services for women of color with cancer in her community all while being in the fight of her life with the contender, breast cancer.
What We Do
A non profit organization designed to provide free beauty, emotional & spiritual needs of women of color dealing with cancer. We provide:
- free ethnic wigs
- free wig trimming
- chemo care bags
- support groups for survivors
- support groups for caregivers
- referrals to community resources
- sponsor women to oncology camps
- Sponsor family activities
- support services/respite to caregivers
