Rock the Block is a 4 day collaboration between Urban Christian Ministries & Greater Refuge Temple. The final day of Rock the Block culminates with free giveaways of hot dogs & hamburgers, school supplies, and hygiene products. There will be a number of activities for the kids such as bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, and more. A number of vendors will be selling their products, as well as local agencies performing health related test. This event will be fun for people of all ages.
We are looking for approx 15-20 people who would be able to assist with set up and clean up, as well as help during the event (running concession stands, manning one of the giveaway stations, general traffic control, etc). Event flyer is available upon request.
