Looking for something to do this Saturday? Consider assisting the University Heights Arts Association (UHAA) at the CLEARFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY in Williamsville, New York, where we will present an art program to more than 60 families.
The program, Building a Better World through ART, focuses on the UHAA's ARTcovz® Program, which converts discarded and recyclable items into free art projects that are packaged and then given for free to the community through ARTcovz® dispensers. Participants will use a selection of recycled and discarded materials to make each of five projects to take with them.
Volunteers are needed to assist with each art project as well as with setting up, cleaning up after the event, and packing our van. No art-related experience is necessary but will certainly be welcomed.
TO PARTICIPATE: Telephone us at 833-6260 or email: information@uhartsgroup.com to register with us. Volunteers will meet us at the Clearfield Public Library at 10:00 a.m. to help set up.
