April is National Volunteer Month, so there is no better way to celebrate than by making a difference for aquatic life! Join our team of enthusiastic volunteers and docents to inspire our visitors to connect with species near and far.
The Aquarium of Niagara is holding an orientation session on Saturday May 10th for any applicants looking to join us for the summer of 2025. Here is what you need to know:
Applications submitted no later than April 30th, and interviews completed by May 9th

Minimum age of 15; all applicants are subject to a background check
Must be committed to serving a time period of:
--Minimum of 4 hours/week for a minimum of 6 months
--Minimum of 8 hours/week for a minimum of 3 months
Our volunteers and docents work closely with our front-line staff to create memorable and educational experiences. Whether assisting visitors at a special event, or providing animal information at our exhibits, we rely on our volunteers and docents to assist with our day-to-day operations.
