On June 7th, we will be installing up to 600 alarms in 250 homes in Buffalo and would love your help. No prior experience is necessary as we’ll provide all the training you’ll need the day of. Rain or shine, we will be out there with our home base out of Delavan-Grider Community Center, and will have smoke alarm installations happening within the East Side of Buffalo and beyond.
Help the American Red Cross reduce the rate of deaths and injuries due to home fires by 25 percent! You'll be able to visit homes within the community, review a fire safety checklist with the residents, assist the resident in completing a home fire escape plan, and review priority protective actions.
