Position Overview:
As the Volunteer Coordinator, you'll be the key point of contact for individuals interested in volunteering with WHJESP. You'll help recruit, organize, and support our team of volunteers across various programs and events. Your work will ensure our volunteers are engaged, informed, and empowered to contribute meaningfully to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Alongside TEAMHUTCH members, you will help recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers
Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments based on program needs
Communicate regularly with volunteers regarding opportunities, logistics, and updates
Track volunteer hours and maintain accurate records
Help plan volunteer recognition and appreciation efforts
Support WHJESP events by organizing volunteer team
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in computer applications and digital tools
Friendly, reliable, and proactive
Comfortable working with diverse groups
Prior volunteer management experience a plus, but not required
Must be at least 18 years old
