We would like to host Day of Caring United Way volunteers at our Resource Center Garden, where we host our gardeners for meetings and use it as a hub for materials distribution for our network of 117 gardens.
Volunteers will help repair our farm stand, which was damaged this winter, so we can better distribute fresh produce to the Pratt-Willert neighborhood, and will also assist with general garden upkeep/repairs to support our elderly gardeners.
This will include basic construction with wood, gardening, weeding, trimming, and litter removal.
