If you want to learn more about firefighting, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, rope, water, vehicle and technical rescue; or fire police (traffic control) while still in your teens, many of our volunteer fire departments offer opportunities for good young adults like you to serve as a Fire Explorer (Age 14-18); Junior Firefighter or Cadet (Typically 16-18).
