A one day event to get the word out about the new location of the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. SSVF is a rapid re-housing and stabilization program for homeless Veterans and their families.
The Operation Outreach Blitz will take place on Wednesday, August 5th from 10 AM-4PM across Erie and Niagara Counties. Volunteers will meet at the Naval Park at Canalside at 9:30 AM to meet the coordinators and receive their assignments.
Volunteers will be expected to drive to different pre-identified locations to drop off informational material to spread the word about the SSVF program.
Please be prepared to drive. All locations will be provided to you on the day of the event along with contact information for questions or emergencies.
