VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: VOLUNTEER - PASSAGE HOUSE
PROGRAM: Passage House Domestic Violence Services
STATUS: Volunteer

REPORTS TO: Residential Care Coordinator

EXPERIENCE: Experience in an office environment helpful.
AGENCY EXPECTATIONS:
- Demonstrates knowledge of the program, missions, and services of FACS.
- Complies with all policies and procedures of FACS (including NASW Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Policies) and all governmental and legal requirements.
- Respects client confidentiality.
VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS:
- Answers and assesses incoming telephone calls.
- Maintains contact with Shelter clients; provides brief emotional support, as needed.
- Maintains a safe, clean and comfortable environment for individuals in residence.
- Assists Residential Services Coordinator in obtaining and storing supplies, organizing donations, filing and data organization.
We are looking for a volunteer approximately 12 hours per week during the daytime.
