We are looking for groups and individuals to assist with:
Garden Maintenance
We work with volunteers to help maintain the many gardens in our parks and circles. This work varies depending on the time of year but typically includes weeding, planting, mulching, pruning, and general garden cleanup.
Invasive Species Management
We work with volunteers to remove non-native invasive plant species that are harming the health of the natural areas in the parks. This typically includes digging, cutting, and pulling out invasive vines, grasses, shrubs, and trees. This work helps create healthier, diverse habitats that support wildlife and improve local ecosystem quality.
Park Grounds Maintenance
We work with volunteers to help with general park maintenance. These projects could include work like weeding and edging the sidewalks, cleaning up trash, removing graffiti, and setting up or cleaning up for events.
Bench Staining
We work with volunteers to stain the wooden benches throughout the park system.
