Did you know that 1 in 7 American adults has kidney disease? Help us spread the word about the impact of kidney disease, share risk factors and let patients know about support programs.
How you can help:
- Share information about kidney health and kidney disease risk factors, in accordance with Kidney Foundation of WNY guidelines. Volunteers will not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind.
- Distribute informational materials prepared by the Kidney Foundation of WNY, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDKD) and other sources.
Outreach and patient service events may take place at various locations, including community centers, parks, businesses, restaurants/hotels, and medical offices.
We now offer both in-person training and remote training for volunteers.
