
On Monday, January 20th, 2020 at 8:30am at the Hamburg Memorial Youth Center (200 Prospect Avenue, Hamburg, NY 14075), The Service Collaborative, Village of Hamburg Parks & Recreation Department, and Hamburg High School Academy of Finance will celebrate MLK Day by hosting a Food Drive in partnership with the FeedMore WNY. AmeriCorps and YouthBuild members, students, and community volunteers will mobilize to turn Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life and teachings into community action. Volunteers will work together to collect canned/non-perishable goods from the front porches of households in the Village of Hamburg. Plastic bags will be provided to each village household a week prior to the event. This is an outdoor volunteer project. Please prepare for winter weather.
