Historic Concordia Cemetery will be having a community work day on Friday September 12th from 9-1 pm at the cemetery, 438 Walden Ave. in Buffalo. We ask that you wear a mask and Work gloves and we will have extras for anyone that needs them. We will be able to work at a distance performing maintenance work in the 15 acres of sacred land that tells the stories of Buffalo’s heritage. We will also be cleaning sections of Walden Avenue and Sycamore Street. Coffee, water and snacks will be ready at 9:30am and you may choose your work task. This historic cemetery That was once abandoned is operated by volunteers only and we need all the help we can get from our community. It is a beautiful place to get air, exercise while learning about our history and to meet some great people! Please join us! Thank you!
