The Development & Event Planning committee will have direct responsibility over International Child Advancement's (ICA) event planning and development activities.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with ICA's Executive Director to develop the organization's yearly development and event planning strategy
* Develop a project plan for each event and oversee all planning implementation aspects ensuring all goals are met
* Research and book venues, vendors, performers and speakers
* Collaborate with ICA's HR Director to recruit volunteers for each event
* Conduct research and develop list of prospective grant opportunities, foundations, corporate sponsors & donors
* Submit quarterly reports to the Executive Director on the progress of fund development activities
* Help educate all ICA volunteers about the resources needed to realize the organization’s plans and fulfill its mission
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in management, project management, sales and/or event planning
* Strong time-management and organizational skills
* Strong relationship-building skills with prior proven success are required
* Ability to effectively interact and form partnerships with donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, other organizations, internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent written & oral communication skills and presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment (remote and in-person)
* Personal integrity, friendliness, patience, professionalism, flexibility and enthusiasm
Time commitment: Approximately 1-2 hours per week (will depend on number of committee members).

* ICA Appreciation Luncheon: July 16, 2022
* 4th Annual Back to School Drive: August 13, 2022
* Holiday Toy & Food Drive: December 3 - 17th
