We are currently looking for volunteers to prepare dinner for residents of our residential facility, Bissonette House. Bissonette is a 120-day transitional home which houses about 24 men returning from New York State Prison at any given time. Our residents receive one-on-one case management and participate in a variety of programming designed to help them can gain the tools and knowledge necessary to rebuild their lives so that they may successfully reintegrate into the community.
Dinner time is special at Bissonette - it's a time when everyone gathers, shares a meal, and shares a bit of themselves. We believe that this is a fun opportunity for volunteers to meet and bond with our guys.
We are looking for individuals with a passion for social justice that will treat our clients with the dignity and respect that they deserve.
