The University Heights Arts Association seeks volunteers to help prepare and fill art kits for use in their ARTcovz® program, which recycles discarded and raw materials into free art-related samplers. Each kit contains directions and enough materials for a single project, such as a drawing or painting lesson, craft project, haiku lesson, or music sampler. The UHAA also grows, harvest, illustrates and packages gardening seeds to place in the ARTcovz®, along with a small, paint-able planter made from recycled materials. ARTcovz® kiosks placed in community spaces dispense the free projects.
Both skilled and non-skilled volunteers are welcome. Volunteers willl either prepare materials or fill kits. Specific skills may include tracing, cutting, folding and separating materials, Volunteers will be given a set of simple instructions to follow.
