The University Heights Arts Association (UHAA) will bring it's traveling ARTbooth program to the 2017 Mini Maker Faire at the Buffalo Science Museum. The ARTbooth program, which provides free, sit-down art activities at community events and available spaces, serves more than 450 children and families per year at the Mini Maker Faire. Volunteers are needed to:
Set up activities for our booth
Assist visitors with art and craft activities during the event
Clean up activities at the end of the event
No art-related experience is needed to assist at this event.
The UHAA booth will feature,"Eye Poppin' OpArt" which invites visitors to make any or all of several projects that explore color, shape and movement. Colorful, kinetic art for anyone. Of course, we will offer open art as well. As always, our booth is FREE.
