Join the University Heights Arts Association and Illuminations Glass Art Studio (in the convent adjacent to Villa Maria College) on March 1st from 1:00-4:00 p.m for an ARTcovz® Packaging event.
We will package several hundred packets for ARTcovz® dispesners.
Have a snack, help us package, and enjoy socializing with artists and community members.

LOCATION: Illuminations Glass Art Studio (enter at rear of convent)
DESCRIPTION: a community event to help package art projects to fill our ARTcovz®
dispensers. The ARTcovz® program converts raw, recycled and discarded materials into
pre-packaged art kits that are offered for FREE to children, families or anyone who wishes to
take a project from an ARTcovz® dispenser. The dispensers are placed in community
spaces, especially where people can most benefit from free projects.
TASKS:
-tracing (paper, felt, fabric) -cutting (paper, felt, fabric)
-filling envelopes or other packaging receptacles with art sampler supplies
-operating decorating craft punches -filling garden seed packets
-stapling or gluing cover material to envelopes
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Our doors will open at 1:00 p.m. All materials and supplies will be provided. We will also offer water, coffee and hot cocoa.
COMPANY MISSION: The mission of the University Heights Arts Association is to provide
accessible, free art programs to artists and enthusiasts of all ages through the use of
available spaces and recycled materials.
DONATIONS: Do you have materials to donate? They will be graciously accepted.

-paints (watercolor, acrylic, poster) -gardening seeds (if harvested or bought within a year)
-envelopes ( 6 in. X 9 in. And 2 in. X 4 in.). -miscellaneous art or craft supplies
