We are actively seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers aged 15+ to serve on an ongoing basis at DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, one of Kaleida Health's long-term care facilities. Volunteers make a huge difference to our residents and staff! Volunteers can expect to work with the Activities Department and help with games, crafts, events, and 1-to-1 interaction to improve residents' social stimulation and help them have fun! This is an excellent opportunity for retirees looking to give back, get more engaged, or share their knowledge with the community. It's also great for students who are considering a career in the medical field or those looking for service-learning hours. We ask that volunteers be willing to commit to six months, with a minimum of 10hrs per month. **Please also reach out if you are interested in coordinating a one-time group event.**
DeGraff SNF is an 80-bed facility that provides both sub-acute rehabilitation and traditional long-term care.
